I heard about tablets like these out in Germany and bought them to try them out. Whilst they do work, and I don't get the usual symptoms regarding my mucus system (I feel like I have a bad cold, including cough and blocked nose), I do have to stick to about 30 minutes prior to eating and it does not take fully away when it comes to digesting milk. I will still feel slightly bloated and it takes me about three days to feel my digestion is back up to par. Whilst they are useful on the rare occasion that I can not avoid dairy, it is better for me to avoid dairy all together.
Overall, I have been happy with this product. The tablets are presented in a rather nice metal dispensing tin, which is handy to keep in your handbag. However, the supplier sells refill packs with 100 tablets in, to refill these tins, at a reduced price, effectively giving you 20 tablets free (each tin holds 40 tablets), the refill packs are not available on Amazon, I wonder why? but if you order them direct from the manufacturers website, they charge postage and packing which rather defeats the object of ordering directly (maybe that's the plan so they don't have to pay Amazon a percentage !) so I believe this is very narrow minded of them and for this reason I have given them 3 stars, which is a shame. As a prime member I get free shipping, but will consider trying other brands to see if I can match the performance and the price, otherwise I will end up with multiple spare tins.
The tablets do the main job on my gut yes - they enable me to indulge in lactose-containing foods and drinks without the ensuing upset stomach. But the product is let down by the poor quality of the carrying tin they come in. It’s the right idea - a handy pocketable tin that can be carried for when needed - but it’s poorly made and leaks the dust from the tablets incessantly; I fear it will also in time just fall apart. I’ve therefore had to keep the tin inside the outer cardboard box (fortunately same handy size) so the tin doesn’t actually fall apart and to slightly contain some (but not all) of the dust. Given how dusty and crumbly the tablets are, I feel this is quite an oversight that needs to be fixed, to then make an almost perfect 4* product. Would also be nice if they didn’t stick so badly to the teeth when chewed please (would then be 5*!).

Bought for my daughter and father who have lactose issues. They seem to work well and the tin is both cute and a handy size.
